NCCr Prt Nr. rachg2af kswya+Na 3 Repuest FAa N0 M•7C~7.107 1~/J/!7! <br />Reclamation Plan: Revision to the reclamation plan to remove the interior reservoir cells <br />and the reclaimed slope along the north boundary of the pit. <br />The current reclamation plan shows the site being reclaimed as 7 separate tined reservoir cells. <br />NCCI requests a revrsron to the current plan which removes the separate cells and shows the <br />pit being reclaimed as a single Irned reservorr cell. <br />NCCI also requests a revision to the plan which removes the reclaimed slope along the north <br />boundary of the pd for the purpose of joining the reservoir cell on this site with a future cell on <br />the adjacent property. NCCI is presently in the process of preparing an application for a <br />Construction Materials Regular (112) Operation Reclamation Permd for Ihis property. <br />Attached is a revised reclamatron plan map that shows the revised configuration of the lined <br />reclaimed reservorr cell and shows the removal of the reclarmed slope along the north boundary <br />of the pit. <br />Reclamation t3ond: Revision to the i;nancial warranty required /or the reclamation o/ <br />each phase of mining. <br />Per Technical Revision #2 the financial warranty required for each phase of mining includes a <br />cost component for the "liner required to close lined area, should project be stopped" Because <br />the "liner required to close lined area" component for each phase of mining is replaced with a <br />new 'Inver required to close lined area" component as the next phase of mining occurs, the <br />financral warranty requred for this component for each phase of ntrnrng should be released as <br />the next phase of minmg commences, with the financial warranty required for this component in <br />that phase taking its place. <br />NCCI requests that the financial warranty required for each phase of mrnrng be revised to <br />include a credit for the financial warranty posted during the previous phase for the `liner regwred <br />to close lined area" component. This would accurately calculate the 'net" financial warranty <br />requrred for this component between the two phases and for the current limn o1 disturbance as <br />well as account for the tnancral warranty that has already been posted to insure that the <br />Division has sufficient f~nandal warranty to complete the reclamation <br />A component has been included in the required frnancral warranty calculations for the phase 1 <br />mining area to provide for a reclaimed slope along the north boundary of the prt. Thrs financial <br />warranty would remain in place until a future fmancial warranty for the adjacent property, which <br />would provide for the continuation of the reservoir liner on that site, is posted.
