Techn,cal Revision No 3 Request, File No. M•2001-107 Ll <br />Dear Mr. Mount. <br />Northern Colorado Constructors (NCCI) requests a revision to their existing permit to address <br />the following 3 items: <br />1 Mining Plare Revision of the permit area, revision of the location of the crushing and <br />screening area, and revision of the location of the temporary dewatering pond. <br />2. Reclamation Plan: Revision to the reclamation plan to remove the interior reservoir cells <br />and the recla,med slope along the north boundary of the pit. <br />3. Reclamation Bond: Revision of the financial warranty required for the reclamation of <br />each phase of mining. <br />Detailed descriptions of these revisions are in the following sections. <br />Mining Plan: Revision of the permit area, revision of the location o/ the crushing and <br />screening area, and revlsion o/the location of the temporary dewatering pond. <br />The current permit boundary follows the property boundary. NCCI requests a revision to the <br />current permit boundary which would remove the area adjacent to the north property I,ne from <br />the permit area This area would consist of a twenty foot strip parallel to the north property line <br />and would reduce the permit area from 102.66 acres to 101 96 acres. <br />NCCI has relocated the temporary dewatering pond from the phase 1 area to the phase 3 area <br />and has relocated the crushing and screening equipment to the phase 7 area. This equipment <br />will remain in the phase 7 area until the mining of this phase occurs.
