Comment <br />"Beginning in the summer of 1983, and during the :'eclama- <br />tion phase, the residual waste rock will be graded, so that the <br />waste dump assumes a cross-sectional profile with a slope of <br />approximately 2(H):1(V)". which waste dump is the operator <br />referring to? <br />Cotter Response <br />The second paragraph on page E-1 has been revised to <br />indicate that by the time reclamation activities are completed, <br />both waste dumps will be graded to a side slope of 2(H:i:l(V). <br />Beginning in the summer of 1983, Cotter will remove the south <br />one-third of the east waste dump to prevent sloughing of waste <br />rock. All waste rock deposited in the dumps from the ~~resent <br />time until the end of the mine life will be graded to ~s final <br />slope of 2(H):1(V). Regrading of the existing waste dumps <br />will be undertaken at the end of the mine life to insure that <br />all waste dump slopes have a reclaimed slope of 2(H):1(V). <br />E.2.
