Carl,
I want to make sure I understand the process, especially all of the notice
requirements, before I submit this application package.
1. I will submit to you:
Original plus copy of application
Two copies of exhibits
Application Fee of $1,938
2. You tell me that my application is complete (hopefully)
3. I send notices to:
Board of County Commissioners
Conservation District
I place copy of full application at Weld County Clerk & Recorder's
office. Not recorded, just filed there for public view.
Then I send you proof that I filed it.
Within 10 days, I publish the amendment 4 times in the newspaper of
general circulation (this will be Longmont's paper).
I will also mail or serve copies of the notice to landowners within 200'
of the project.
I will send you proof of publishing and mailing.
4. I should get approval or denial from your office within 90 days of
application. Do you think there is a possiblity that this could be a
shorter time period?
So, I do not do any publications or notifications until I hear from you that
the application is complete, yes? Also, there is a posting notice included
in the application package. when does this need to be done? If no mining
is proposed in this amendment (only pond reshaping and a slurry wall), do I
need to post?
Thank you for getting back so quickly on my previous questions. I just want
to make sure I do this right the first time.
