operator, Siegrist Construction Company
1. I would put, on your list of exhibits at the front of this
application that there is no change to the Mining Plan.
2. You are correct.
3. Yes, please put in a copy of the Substitute Water Supply Plan in
exhibit G and DMG will be able to check with the Office of the State
Engineer how that is proceeeding.
4. I don't believe that DMG needs to see a copy of the Augmentation
Plan at this time since it is not directly related to the reclamation
permit and the slurry wall will obviate the need to have an Augmentation
Plan for anything directly related to the mining and reclamation
activities.
Carl B. Exhibit D involves a mining plan. Since Carma (the developer) will not
be doing any mining, shall I put "not applicable" under this section?
2. Exhibit E is for the Reclamation Plan. It is under this section that I
will describe the grading/reshaping operations for the ponds, as well as all
of the other information.
3. Under the Exhibit G - Water Information, do you want me to include a
copy of the Substitute water Supply Plan that the developer is processing
through the State? It is to account for evaporation loss from the ponds
until the slurry wall is completed.
4. Also under exhibit G, Little Thompson Water District is processing an
Augmentation/Exchange Plan through the state in order for alluvial wells to
be constructed next to the ponds. These wells will draw water from the St.
Vrain River (after the ponds are lined). The source is treated effluent
from the development's flows that is being released downstream at the St.
Vrain Sanitation District wastewater treatment facility, and the exchange is
to pull the water from the river upstream of the plant's release point.
Shall I include the Augmentation/Exchange application?
Jodi Villa, P.E.
Project Manager
Meurer & Associates, Inc.
Engineers ~ Designers ~ Consultants
143 Union Boulevard, Suite 600
Lakewood, CO 80228
TEL: 303-985-3636
5
