DMG's Task 05a for the mill. The Henderson spreadsheet and additional
documentation are found in Exhibit C. The Henderson spreadsheet shows the
materials and the amounts maintained at the Mili.
• Sodium Cyanide -Although sodium cyanide has been stored and
used in the mill process in the past, the practice has been
discontinued presently. There is no cyanide stored on Henderson
property. Therefore, that line item on the DMG FW spreadsheet is
reduced from $23,660 to $0. !f Henderson elects to use sodium
cyanide in the mill circuit in the future, it will increase the FW
accordingly prior to storage on the site.
• Phosphorous Pentasulfide - Per the letter dated August 8, 2002,
Astaris, Henderson's supplier of PISS, accepts unused and
unopened totes of that product fora 25% restocking fee (Exhibit C).
Henderson maintains 8 totes of this material at the mill and has
calculated the return fees at $714 per tote for a total disposal cost of
$5712; a reduction of $22,124.
- Hydrochloric Acid -Henderson only maintains 36,000 gallons of
HCL at the mill facility. Using DMG's unit disposal cost, the amount
for this line item is reduced from $134,542 to $48,434.
• Pine Oil, Vapor Oit, 9N9, 50wt. Gear Oit -These mill reagents are
considered "used oil" products and are disposed with other used oils
at no cost to Henderson. Documentation from Henderson's used oil
contractor is found in Exhibit B for the Henderson mill items. Thus,
these items are reduced in DMG's task spreadsheet from $78,301
(total for the three reagents) to $0.
• Syntex - DMG's spreadsheet line item cost is based on 120 tons of
Syntex on site. Henderson has reduced Syntex use and storage to
10 tons. Using DMG's unit disposal cost, the disposal amount is
reduced from $83,507 to $6959.
• Safety Kleen Solvent -Henderson uses and maintains a small
amount of Safety Kleen solvent at the mill. Thus, a line item should
be added to the DMG task for 210 gallons at a unit disposal cost of
$1.69; an increase of $354 in the total amount.
5
