analyses conducted. Chloride (7 rn7/1) arri Sulfate (58 mcr/11 were analyzed
but omitted frwn the AHR. No potential mine impacts are reasonably
projected to occur at this site. 'This site was visited again in July and
August with flows and field paraz~ters recorded. No further monitoring
took place i.n 1992. There is no practical reason to continue monitoring
at Pond & Spring 17 as no mine related impacts can reasonably be expected
to occur at this site.
SP 18~: Spring & Fond 18 lies outside the area of any potential mining ir~acts.
711e pond was observed in June (full) with an inflow of 2.4 qpm occurring
fran the spring. A water quality sample was obtained and full suite
analyses conducted. Chloride f4 ma/1) and Sulfate 166 ma/11 were analyzed
but omitted frwn the AHR. No potential mine impacts are reasonably
projected to occur at this site. 'this site was visited again in July and
August with flows and field parameters reoonied for July, no nwa~~rable
flow noted for August. No further monitoring was conducted during 1992 as
the spring was observed with no measurable flows and presumed to remain in
this condition throughout the remainder of the year. 'there is no
practical reason to continue monitoring at Fbnd & Spring 18 as no mine
related impacts can reasonably be expected to occur at this site.
SP 202: Spring & Fond 20 lies outside the area of any potential mining impacts
given mine development to date. 'This site was observed in July (pond
full; 1.6 gpm inflow) aryl August (pond full; 0.3 qpm inflow) 1992. No
water quality samples were collected as a sufficient water quality
database exists to characterize pre-mining water quality at this site. No
further monitoring took place in 1992. In July and August, samples could
have been collected but were not as OOVOC questioned the utility of this
information. No mining has occurred in the vicinity of this spring to
date.
SP 222: Spring & Fbnd 22 lies outside the area of any potential mining impacts
given mine development to date. ZYnis site was observed in July and August
with no measurable flows occurring thrazc)hout the remainder of the year.
No further monitoring was conducted during 1992 as the spring was observed
with no measurable flows and presumed to remain in this condition
throughout the remainder of the year. No mining has occw.~red in the
vicinity of this spring to date and a sufficient water quality database
already exists to characterize pre-mining water quality at this site.
SP 29': Spring & Fbnd 29 lies outside the area of any potential mining impacts.
'This site was observed in July (pond full; 3.6 gpm outflow) and August
(pond full; trickle outflow) 1992. NO water quality samples were obtained
as sufficient data already exists for this site to establish pre-mining
water quality. 4here is no practical reason to continue monitoring at
Fond & Spring 29 as no mine related i~acts can reasonably be expected to
occur at this site.
SP 5-1': Spring & Pond 5-1 lies outside the area of any potential mining impacts.
'This site was observed in June (pond full; trickle inflow), July (pond
full; 0.5 gpm inflow) and August (pond full; no n+Pa~~rahle flow) 1992.
Zhe 0.0262 cfs flow reported for June in the AHR is erroneous. A water
data already exists for this site to establish pre-mining water
9
