quality. There is no practical reason to continue monitoring at Pond &
Spring 5-1 as no mine relate3 impacts can reasonably be expected to occur
at this site.
SP 6-4~: Spring & Pond 6-4 is located outside the area of any potential minim
impacts. 7.firis site was observed in July (pond full; 0.5 gpm outflow) arxi
August (pond full; trickle outflow) 1992. No water quality sat~les were
obtained as sufficient data already exists to establish pre-mining water
quality for this site. '!here is no practical reason to continue
monitoring at Pons & Spring 6-4 as no mine related ingaacts can reasonably
be expected to occur at this site.
S 6-6~: Spring 6-6 is located outside the area of any potential mining impacts,
'this site was observed dry in July arc! August. A review of the database
indicates this spring rarely flows. 'There is no practical reason to
continue monitoring at Sprirg 6-6 as no mine related impacts can
reasonably be expected to occas at this site.
SP 7-lZ: Spring & Pond 7-1 lies outside the area of arty potential mining impacts
given mine development to date. This site was observed in July (pond 1/3
full; no measurable inflaa) and August (pond 1/4 full; no measurable
inflow) 1992. No water quality samples were collected as no flows were
observed. A sufficient water quality database exists to characterize pre-
mising water quality at this site. No mining has occurred in the vicinity
of this spring to date. No further monitoring was conducted during 1992
as the sprirg was observed with no measurable flows and presumed to remain
in this condition throughout the remainder of the year.
S 21~: Spring 21 lip outside the area of any potential mining impacts given mine
development to date. This site was observed as a trickle in June, July,
ani August 1992. 'The June observation was omitted from the AHR. No water
quality samples were obtained as no measurable flows were observed. A
sufficient water quality database exists to characterize pre-mining water
quality at this site. No further monitoring was conducted during 1992 as
the spring was observed with no mPa~~rable flows and presumed to remain in
this wndition throughout the remainder of the year.
S 1-3': Sprirg 1-3 is located outside the area of any potential mine impacts.
'This site was observed to be flowing in July (10.7 gpm) and August (9.6
gpm) 1992. Flow measurement and field parameters for August were Knitted
frown the AHR. No water quality samples were obtained as a sufficient
database exists to charac-tesize pre-mining water quality at this site. No
water quality samples were obtained as sufficient data already exists to
establish pre-minim water quality for this site. There is no practical
reason to continue monitoring at Spring 1-3 as no mine related i~acts can
reasonably be expected to occur at this site.
S 1-5': Spring 1-5 is located outside the area of any potential mine impacts.
'This site was observed July (no measurable flora) and August (dry) 1992.
No water quality sample was obtained as no flow was observed. A
sufficient database exists to characterize pre-mining water quality at
this site. There is no practical reason to continue monitoring at Spring
1-5 as no mine related impacts can reasonably be expected to occur at this
site.
10
