Therefore, to demonstrate that <br />Phase II bond release is appropriate, the reclaimed area <br />sample mean must be shown to be equal to 63$ total <br />vegetative cover with 90 percent statistical confidence. <br />Quantitative Sampling - General: <br />In accordance with the Division's Vegetation <br />Guidelines ("Guidelines for Compliance with Land Use and <br />Vegetation Requirements of the Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, October, 1988"), a <br />minimum of 15 samples was agreed upon to be taken throughout <br />the disturbed areas. These areas, though disjunct from each <br />other, were sampled as one unit since one success standard <br />has been approved for the entire mine site. Samples were to <br />be collected until sample adequacy was reached.
