Sediment and Erosion Prevention <br />The Site is located for the most part on a steep hillside. Sediment and erosion prevention is <br />accomplished through multiple measures. Native vegetation is left undisturbed wherever <br />possible. Revegetation of disturbed areas is ongoing as practicable. Examples of revegetation <br />areas include the areas above .and below the active Mount Royale adit As described above, <br />stormwater is diverted from disturbed areas wherever practicable. A berm has been constructed <br />around the Cash Mine. waste pile to capture stormwater flows that have fallen directly on the pile. <br />Frequent water bars are .installed on-the mine .roads to prevent excessive concentration of flows. <br />Check dams are located southeast of the mill building and southeast of the materials stockpile <br />area adjacent to the mill building. Two check dams have been constructed below the Mount <br />Royale adit. <br />4.3.4.
