(4) After reviewing all the environmental factors that can effect successful revegetation, the <br />plan proposed by the applicant provides for the greatest probability of success. Grazing will be <br />restricted from reclaimed areas until release has been secured from the Board. <br />(5) Appropriate techniques to insure the establishment of a diverse and long-lasting ve etative <br />cover are a part of the reclamation Ulan. <br />The pit floor and backslopes will be scarified before topsoiling. After topsoiling, fertilizer mulch and <br />seed will be applied. No irrigation or supplementing water is available or proposed. <br />(6) Weeds will be controlled by mowing or applications of 2-4 D as needed. <br />(7) No fire lanes are proposed or necessary. The access road will not be reclaimed, as it will be <br />used by the applicant/owner for access to the southeast portion of his ranch. <br />(8) Delav in planting required for reclamation. The only planting delay proposed is For the <br />access road which will not be planted. There are no areas for delayed planting such as those described <br />in (a)(b)(c)(d) and (e). <br />(9) There are no adverse characteristics of the surface which would seriously inhibit plant <br />growth. <br />6.6 Buildings and Structures. <br />~ There~are no buildings or structures presently on site and none are proposed: <br />M <br />6.7 Signs and Mazkers <br />_.~ .The applicant commits to placing the required signs at the access road and mazkingthe boundaries. <br />(d) As stated earlier, topsoil will be segregated and stockpiled.
