2.05.3(3) • • <br />b. Elk Creek Canyon Road <br />The Elk Creek road extends from the main <br />access and haul road up Elk Creek Canyon. This road provides <br />access to the powder and cap magazines, the Bear Creek power line <br />road, and the cemetery road. The improved portion of the road <br />extends for 0.7 miles. The unimproved portion of the road con- <br />tinues up the Elk Creek drainage. This road is also used by <br />wildlife management and other property owners as access to the <br />filk Creek area. <br />c. C Seam Facilities Road <br />The C-Seam Facilities Road extends from <br />the Elk Creek canyon road to the old C-Seam Facilities. This <br />road is no longer in use. <br />d. Topsoil Storage Area <br />The topsoil stockpiles piles consist of <br />topsoil salvaged from the East Yard Gob Disposal area and the <br />Sanborn Creek Mine facilities area. <br />e. Coal Storage Area <br />The area where coal will be stockpiled. <br />The coal to be stockpiled in this area includes coal delivered to <br />the facilities area from other mines in the area and the coal <br />mined from the Sanborn Creek Mine. The coal storage area is in a <br />common area with the parking lot. Up to 25,000 tons may be <br />stored in the stockpile area at any given time however every <br />effort will be made to minimize the size of the stockpile by <br />scheduling coal shipments and coal deliveries from other mines in <br />the area. <br />f. I. D. Si n as er Rule 4.02 <br />The location of the mine and permit <br />identification sign which must be displayed at each entrance to <br />the permit area from public roads. <br />g. East Yard Gob Disposal Area <br />The East Yard Gob Disposal Area is the <br />active gob disposal area which is approved for use by the Opera- <br />tor and Bear Coal Company. It is located near the sealed C-Seam <br />portals. See Drawings CS-1195A, page 2.05-21 for more details. <br />2.05 - 9i <br />New B-OS-91 <br />
