Caterpillaz D-9 Dozers <br />Front End Loaders <br />30 ton off road haul trucks <br />Light vehicles <br />Water Trucks <br />All equipment which will be working in the pit expansion area will be equipped with MSIIA and <br />OSHA approved discriminating backup alarms which will only sound if there is another object <br />within a short range of the equipment. This is to minimize noise to surrounding properties. <br />5. Facilities <br />No new facilities aze proposed for the 2007 Amendment except for a canvas storage building <br />described below. <br />CANVAS STORAGE BUILDING <br />35' wide x 60' long canvas building with steel supports that will reach less than 20 feet high. It <br />will be heated and used to park the water truck and possibly other equipment. It will have an <br />asphalt base and screw anchors around the perimeter. Concrete jersey barriers may also be used <br />azound the perimeter to prevent vehicles from damaging the building. <br />All of the following structures have been on site prior to the 2007 Amendment and will be used <br />for the remaining life of the mine <br />CRUSHING/SCREENING AND STOCKPILE AREAS -The excavated gravel resource is <br />crushed and stockpiled according to size on the pit floor. Maximum processing is approximately <br />3,000 tons per day. Since a portable crusher is used, the location of the crushing operation and <br />processed stockpiles change as the mining proceeds across the mining azea. Crushing operations <br />do not occur during the winter months. The crushed material is then passed through a portable <br />screen plant where products of various sizes are made. Water is used constantly during the <br />Yagneur Pit June 07 D-7 <br />
