11-02-00 09: I9 GUNNI SOJ~t GRAVEL 41I LCOX D02ER ID=970695911 p, 07 <br />Permit # IMR -CURE - 5300 - 001 <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />NOTE: The Superintendent shall be notified in nenon or by phone at (9701 641.2337 at <br />operauons. <br />• Where the area of disturbance intersects natural drainage pattcros, these areas of <br />concentrated water flow will be contoured to Flow on bedrock or armored with <br />suitable size riprap to minimize or avoid erosion. These channels will not be scarified <br />or covered with growth medium. <br />• The power line running through the property shall be rerouted or otherwise stabilized <br />prior to reclamation, to allow the required slope reduction. <br />• All buildings, structures, equipment and trash will be removed prior to reclamation. <br />• The si[e will be seeded for two (2) consecutive yeazs after topsoil placement. The <br />seed mix, application rate, application method, timing of application, and soil <br />amendments will be reviewed and approved by the Superintendent prior to <br />application. <br />• The operator is required to monitor and control exotic species and noxious weeds <br />within the seeded areas for a period of two (2) years after seeding. Methods of weed <br />control will be approved by the Superintendent. <br />22. Bonding: <br />Rased on the Plan of Operations, the operator shall be required to file with the <br />Superintendent a performance bond in the amount of $38.500 (see attached <br />Reclamation Bond Amount Estimation) with satisfactory surety prior to initiation of <br />operations. if the operator can provide satisfactory evidence that this bond amount <br />exceeds the amount required for satisfactory reclamation, or should the performance <br />bond calculated by the Colorado State Division of Minerals and Geology he less than <br />the amount stated above, the Superintendent may elect to reduce the NPS required <br />bond amount. The bond shall be conditioned upon faithful compliance with <br />applicable regulations, terms, conditions of the permit, and the Plan of Operations, as <br />approved, revised, or supplemented. <br />A performance bond held by the Colorado State Division of Minerals and Geology <br />will meet the requirement stated above provided that: 1) The bond may not he <br />released without NPS concurrence; and 2) The amount of the State performance bond <br />is equal to, or greater than the bond amount required by the NPS. Should the State <br />bond be less than the amount stated above and satisfactory evidence cannot be <br />provided that indicates the State bond is sufficient, the difference in bond amounts <br />may be required in a separate bond to be held by the National Yark Service. <br />• The operator is required to meet with the Superintendent or designated representative <br />in May annually w discuss planned operations for the upcoming year.
