The use oi'pesticides in the operations area is strictly prohibited unless approved in <br />writing by the Superintendent. <br />18. During operations, a sign approved by the Superintendent shall be posted at the <br />access road gate in an effort to prevent unauthorized entry by pazk visitors. <br />19. All sediment control structures shall be inspected and maintained regularly by the <br />operator. 11te Superintendent may require modification or addition of sediment <br />control structures if the existing system does nut adequately control sediment. <br />The operator shall provide the Superintendent a copy of the approved CDPS General <br />Permit for Sand and Gravel Mining and Processing (and other nonmetallic minerals <br />except fuel), as required by Colorado Discharge Permit System Regulations, <br />Regulation #(il, section 61.3 (2)(e)(iii)(C), prior to comtnencemen[ of operations <br />LU1dCr this palm lt. <br />2l. Reclamation: <br />The clearing of vegetation and surface disturbance shall be minimized and shall be <br />carried out in accordance with the Plan of Operation. All topsoil including the <br />vegetative material shall be stockpiled upon removal and saved for redistribution over <br />the disturbed azea. Topsoil shall be redistributed to a depth of slx inches over the <br />disturbed area. Approximately 8,000 cubic yards will be required for the l2-acre site. <br />The operator is required to supplement suitable growth medium should the salvaged <br />topsail be less than the required volume..The native decomposed granite material <br />found on site is the preferable growth medium substitute. The Superintendent will <br />detcrmiue growth medium suitability. All surfaces shall be scluilied prior to the <br />application of topsoil or growth medium. <br />
