After testing,
the topsoil in the stockpile and the salvaged and stockpiled SPQI from the dame
will be applied to those areas shorn in Exhibit Q as shrub or riparian revegetation.
Two communities will be re-established according to the following revege-
tation plan; a shrub community on the uplands and elopes away from Rubbard Creek
(designated "S" on Exhibit Q).
Revegetation of the Shrub Community will proceed as follovs: Once the
slopes are prepared, the grass, forb and shrub seeds and necessary amendments will
be broadcast or drilled during the first appropriate planting season. When seeding
is completed the area will be mulched. The planting time vill be carefully selected
because the major slope that will be revegetated has a western aspect. Those portions
of the slopes that appear susceptible to gully erosion will be selectively netted
to minimize erosion. The mix that is proposed for the Oak Shrub community on
this slope is:
PLS
GRASSES
Hountain Brome
Indian Recegrasa
Intermediate Wheatgrass
Slender Wheatgrass
Western Wheatgrass
Bromus carinatys
Oryzopsis hymenoides Paloma
ro ron intermedian Amur)
Agropyron trachycaulum Primer)
Agropyron smithii Rosana)
lb/ac PLS/f t2
4.5 15
3.0 13
,
4.5
9
4.5 16
6.0 15
111 (Rev. 8/30/85)
