<br />Reclamation of sediment ponds three and four shall be aecomplsihed after <br />successful revegecation ie assured. Sufficient gardaga exists in the berms of the <br />ponds to provide the fill needed to reclaim the ponds. A bulldozer shall be used <br />to push the berms into the ponds and bring the local area back to approximate <br />original contours. <br />Blue Ribbon Reservoir No. 1 also know as sediment pond No. 1 shall not <br />be reclaimed. Blue Ribbon Reservoir No. 1 was decreed in Case No. W-3051 on August <br />10, 1977, and a quadrennial finding of reasonable diligence was entered in Case No. <br />81-CW-64 on August 4, 1981. This reservoir is a valuable asset that can be used <br />for future water rights is the area even after the Blue Ribbon Mine is reclamied. <br />Since access shall be required to the Blue Ribbon Reservoir No. 1 the Hubbard <br />Creek crossing dip section shall be left in place. <br />Areas for reclamation were calculated ae follows: <br />Bench stabilization 3.4 acres <br />Initial Reclamation -bench, <br />access road, lover stockpile, <br />scale locations and area between <br />No. 1 Pond and the toe of the bench 9.2 acres <br />Final Reclamation - Pond No. 3 <br />and No. 4 0.4 acres <br />Because the soil survegs conducted oa the site indicate that the existing <br />disturbed soils are suitable pleat growth media, and because the disturbed area is <br />leas than 40 acres, the Blue Ribbon Mine will be reclaimed and revegetated using <br />existing materials with sufficient amendments to achieve adequate re-eatablishmeax <br />of vegetation to meet the requirements of the CMLRD and the landower's poet- , <br />mining land use objectives (wildlife habitat). When the surfaces are regraded to <br />approximately their final contour, at least one soil sample per acre will <br />109 (Rev. 8/30/85) <br />
