In this <br />case, the digline setback is based on leaving 10 feet from the <br />top of the slope to the affected lands line plus whatever <br />distance is needed to complete a cut/fill sloping process. The <br />sketch below shows a typical cross-section of the slope and <br />setback prior to the cut/fill operation starting. This area may <br />not be mined depending on our need to use it as a raw material <br />stockpile. This will be determined once mining is complete on <br />the east parcel. Once the topsoil and overburden is removed excavation <br />will begin. Initially scrapers will be used to strip the area <br />and then loaders or a track how will begin to mine along the west <br />side opening a face from north to south and work east. Once the <br />water table is encountered, pumps will be installed and de- <br />watering will begin. Mining will then begin below the water <br />table and the pit run material will be shipped to the INDUSTRIAL <br />AREA for processing into final product.
