Map H52 shows the effect of this technical revision on the <br />original permit area. <br />2. GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Involved a trade of 11 acres of <br />permitted land on the eastern end of Area 4 for 11 acres of <br />previously unpermitted land on the western edge of Area 1. <br />3. PURPOSE: To obtain coarse gravels located west of Area 1. <br />4. MINING PLAN: <br />a)Would mine generally in a NW to SE direction in 2.5 to 3 <br />acre increments. <br />b)Expected that each increment would take 4 to 5 years to <br />complete. <br />5. RECLAMATION: <br />a)As each mining area is completed the pit would be <br />backfilled with wash fines from the clarifier located in <br />Area 1. <br />b)Five to ten feet of material would be placed on top of the <br />dried sediment. <br />c)Topsoil would then be placed, the site final graded, and <br />seeded in accordance with the permit. <br />6. ADEQUACY REVIEW QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES (Summaries): <br />a)Soil would be stripped ahead of the mining areas. <br />b)Soil would be stripped to a depth of 4 inches to 18 <br />inches. <br />c)Soil would be stockpiled in piles along the edges of the <br />area.
