6ATTLE MOUNTAIN RESOURCES Page I-2 <br />San Luis Project Trehnical Specifications <br />• Applicable safety and health regulations; <br />• Transportation and access conditions; <br />• Availability of utilities; <br />• Erosion control measures; <br />• Subsoil conditions; <br />• Location, availability, and condition ofconstruction materials; <br />• Climate and construction conditions at the site; <br />• Dust abatement requirements; and <br />• Water source required for construction. <br />1.2 Mobilization <br />Upon receipt of the notice [o proceed, the Contractor shall famish, mobilize, arcd install such <br />temporary works, materials, equipment and construction facilities as are necessary for the <br />successful completion of the work. The Contractor shall also operate and maintain such <br />temporary works, equipment and construction facilities throughout the period of construction. <br />All temporary works, such as sanitation facilities, shall fully comply with the applicable rules <br />and regulations of the governing authorities. <br />The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and permissions to utilize roads for <br />mobilization, demobilization and access to the site. Access to the site is available by using <br />existing public roads and Owner's roads. <br />Access roads required for construction operations or for the convenience of the Contractor shall <br />be approved by the Owner and maintained in a condition acceptable to the ~~wner at the <br />Contractor's expense. Upon completion of construction, such roads shall be reclaimed to <br />approximate original conditions unless otherwise directed by the Owner. <br />1.3 Suspension and Resumption of Operations <br />The Contractor shall suspend grading, excavation and fill placement operations whenever <br />conditions for such operations aze unsatisfactory due to rain, snow, wind, cold temperatures or <br />any other reason deemed detrimental to said work by the Designer. <br />The Contractor shall be responsible for protection of excavations and fills from inclement <br />weather.
