Type 6 material shall consist of hard durable rock fragments obtained on site or <br />imported. Type 6 riprap shall meet the following gradation requirements: <br />ROCK PARTICLE <br />SIZE (INCHES) % PASSING <br />BY WEIGHT <br />16 100 <br />14 100 - 85 <br />12 100 - 50 <br />8 50 <br />2 <15 <br />6.8 Material Type 7 - Riprap <br />blt <br />The Contractor shall furnish, transport and place Type 7 material as set forth in the <br />Specifications, the Drawings or as directed by the Designer. <br />Type 7 material shall be used in the grouted riprap channel lining for steeper :sections of the <br />tailings impoundment spillway (Sta. 5+90 to End) as described in Section 8.0 of these <br />Specifications. Type 7 material shall consist of hazd durable rock fragments obtained on site or <br />imported.
