The Contractor shall furnish, transport and place Type 4 material as set forth in the
Specifications, the Drawings or as directed by the Designer.
Type 4 material shall be used in the mild sloped portion (Sta. 0+00 to Sta. 6+00) of the tailings
facility spillway. Type 4 material shall consist of hazd, durable rock fragments excavated on site
or imported. Type 4 riprap shall meet the following gradation requirements:

reclaimed tailings. Type 5 material shall consist of hard, durable rock fragment:; excavated on
site, or imported. Type 5 riprap shall meet the following gradation requirements:
