C. Prohibition of non-stomrwater ducharrrs
Except for discharges from the fur fighting activities, uneoNOrninated springs, or irrigation return flow that are
combined with stormwater discharger, all discharges coi+ered by this permit shat! be composed entirely of
stormwater. Dsstharges of maurial other than stormwater must be addrerscd in a separate CDPS permit issued
for that dischargc.
D. Releases in tsatss of Rmartabk Ouantitier
Ibis permit does not rclitw the perming of the reporting requirements of 40 CFR IIO, 40 CFR ll7 ar 40 CFR
302. Any discharge of hazardous material shall be handled in accordance with the Division's Not cation
Requiremems (see Part 7LA.3. of the permit).
E. Comorehensiw Facility Insoections
For active mining optmtions, qualified personnel identified by the operator shall make a thorough inspection of
their srormwater management system, at least twin pct year (rn the spring and fall), as daaikd in Part LD.6 of
the permit. These inspections tmrst be documented and summarized in the annual report (see Parr LD.7 of the
permit). For inactive mining opetadotu, a thorough inspection of the stormwatn managemem system is required
at kart once per year. Where annual inspections of inactive miner an impracticable, cert~cation of compliance
is required once every three ytars by a Registerod Professional Engineer, as daaikd in Parr LD.6 of the permit.
These inspections must be documemed and summarized in the compliance report (ste Part LD.7 of the permit).
F. Rerordkeepinr and Reoortine
Reeordketping and Infernal Repotting Proudurcs. lncidtnts such err spills or other discharges, along with
other information describing the quality and quantity of stotmwater discharges, shall be included in the
records. Inspections and maintenance activities shall be doctunemed and rerorded. This does not relieve the
permittee of the responsibility of reporting spills as rcquirad under section 25-8-601(2) of tbe Colorado Water
Quality Control Act.
2. Repaying - Aetivt Mitring Optmtions: The pmninte will be required to submit an annual report, covering
January I through Deconlxr 37 ojtach year, on the compliance with the SWMP, The annual report will
contain, at a minimum:
aJ A report on the fariliry's overall rompliance with the SWMP.
b) A summary ojall romprebensiMe stormwarer inspection made.
c) Results and interpretation of any srormwater monitoring performed.
The annual report will be due to the Division on or before February IS of each year (su address in Parr
LA.3 of the permit). The exact due dart jot the permiuu's fast annual report will be listed in their permit
certification. 7)re Division reserves rbe right to rtquirc additional information in the report, on a case-by-
case basis, as needed.
All reports required for subminal shall be signed and cared for accurary by the petmiaee. (See Part LD.9
of the permit.)
3. Rtpotting - Inactive Mining Opetntions: the permittu will be required to submit a report on the
