Manifold monuonng may be used in cues of facilvies consorting of more than one injection well, operating with a common mani(ald. Separate monitoring systems for each well are not required provided the owner/operamr demonstrates that mani(uld monuonng is comparable to indmdual well monitorng. (c) Reporting reyuirements. (I) Reporting re- quirements shall at a minimum include an annual report to the Direcor summarizing the rcsulis of momtonng required under paragraph (h) of this section. Such summary shall include monthly records of injected flwds, and any major changes in characteristics or sourms of injected Ouid. Pre- viously submined information may be included by relerence. (2) Owners or operators of hydrocarbon storage and enhanced recovery projects may report on a field or projen basis rather than an individual well buts where manifold monitoring is used. This section secs forth the information which mull be considemd by the Direcor in authonnng Class II wells. Certain maps, cross-sections, tab- ulations of wills within the area of review, and other data may be included in the application by reference provided they are cunenl, readily avail- able to the Dlrector ((or example, in the permnling agency's files) and sufficiently identified to be re- meved. (a) Prior to the issuance o(a permit (or an ex- isting Class II well to operate or the conswction or conversion of a new Class II well the Dlrector shall consider the following: (D Information required in 40 CFR 144.31 and 143.31(g); (?) A map showing the injection well or project area for which a pemut a sought and the applica- ble area of review. Within the area of review, the map muse show the number or name and location of all existing producing wells, injection wells, abandoned wells, dry holes, and water wells. The map may also show sudace bodies of waters, mines (surface and subsurface), quarties and other peninem surface features including residences and roads, and (culls i( known or suspended. Only in- formation of public mcord and pemnent in(orma- Iion known to the applicant is required Io be in- cluded on Ihis map. This requirement does not apply to existing Class II wells; and (3) A tabulation of dais rcuonably evadable (rum public records or otherwise known to the ap- plicant on all wells within the area of review im eluded on the map required under paragraph (a)(?) of Ihis section which penelrme the proposed injec- tion zone or, in the case of Class II wills operal- mg over the fracture pressure of the injection for- mation, all known wells within the area of review which penetrate formations affected by the in- crease in pressure Such data shall include a de- scription of each well's type, construction, date drilled, location, depth, record of plugging and complete, and any additional infomtalion the Di- rector may require. In cues where the information would be repetitive and the wells are of similar age, type, and construction the Director may elect to only require data on a representative number of wells. This requirement does not apply io existing Class II wells. (3) Proposed opemung data: (i) Average and maximum daily rate and vol- ume of fluids to be injected. (iii Average and maximum injection pressure; and )2
