Mechanical <br />control will be used as a first priority. Chemical methods will only be used if no other <br />alternative produces acceptable results. <br />Wildlife <br />The proposed reclamation plan does not propose to create wildlife habitat. All activities will be <br />planned considering the safety and protection of wildlife on the property. Some species may be <br />temporarily displaced by the mining activities. They aze expected to re-establish with no <br />difficulty after the reclamation has been completed. <br />Water <br />Disturbance of the area will be done to minimize the effect on the prevailing hydraulic balance <br />as follows: <br />a) The operator shall comply with all applicable Colorado water laws. <br />b) The operator shall comply with all applicable Federal and State water quality laws and <br />regulations. <br />c) The operator shall comply with all Federal and State Requirements for dredge and fill. <br />There aze no anticipated requirements of this type of activity. <br />d) The operator shall regrade all sediment an siltation structures after mining completion. <br />8 <br />
