July 26, 1993
Phil Jensen
P.O. Box 616
Meeker, Co 81641
Enron Coal Company
c/o Greg Lewicki
1645 Court Place Suite 309
Denver, Co 80231

Dear Greg: T
PRP'E "~
As you are aware, i~ am the surface and mineral owner of the
property on which Enron's Northern lit Mine and refuse area are
located. This letter is to clarify what items are to remain after
reclamation. These items have been used and will continue to be
used for the hunting and fishing businesses which are currently in
place on the property. I realize that these areas will be
classified as recreational use in the mining permit.
All items to remain are listed below:
1) The road and associated culverts to the Northern #1 portal area.
2) The Northern #1 shop building.
3) The Northern #1 trailer pad area.
4) The storage pad which is below the topsoil stockpile area. This
pad area is currently being used to store materials.
5) The Northern #1 sediment pond and the trench drain system which
provides groundwater to the pond.
6) The refuse area road and associated culverts.
7) The sediment pond at the refuse area.
All other items should be reclaimed according to the approved
permit with the Colorado Division of Mines and Geology.
~~~~~
Phil Jensen
a
-t,a.u pest \'
S~s /93
M -~`'~.A
