Drainage from the primary crusher currently enters the active <br />• mining area and will eventually pass through the sedimentation pond <br />in Section 2 Township 3 North, Range 93 West as shown on the <br />Hydrology - South Map (Map 12). Drainage from the Gossard Loadout <br />passes through one of three sedimentation ponds located on the <br />northeast side of the facility as shown on the Hydrology - North <br />Map (Map 11). <br />Stoker Coal Loadout Facility <br />Details concerning the stoker coal loading facility can be found in <br />Exhibit 15, Stoker Coal Facility, Map 21, Existing Structures - <br />North, Exhibit 7, Hydrology Information and Exhibit e, Air Quality <br />Information. <br />Explosives Storage Area <br />Details concerning the explosives storage facility are found in <br />Exhibit 16 - Explosives Storage Facility, and Map 22, Existing <br />Structures South. <br />The storage facility is in compliance with all requirements of the <br />Mine Safety and Health Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco <br />and Firearms and the Colorado Division of Mines. <br />Colowyo's loadout, the Gossard Loadout, is located at the end of <br />the Union Pacific rail line. The only segment of the spur within <br />the permit area is shown on Map 21, Existing Structures North. <br />Sedimentation Ponds <br />The existing sedimentation ponds for the Colowyo operation are <br />shown and numbered on the Hydrology - South Map (Map 12) and the <br />Hydrology - North Map (Map 11). Most of these sedimentation ponds <br />were constructed in 1978 and 1979 to comply with the performance <br />standards of Subchapter B (Office of Surface Mining Interim Program <br />Standards).
