appear to meet the 3:1 requirement.
• 51W-A -- The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 3.64 feet. This modification will also correct the
inadequate residual freeboard at peak flow that currently exists.
The spillway needs to be extended 20 feet below the toe of the dam
and this extension will require erosion control material. The
spillway invert will also requires erosion control material but
this pond already has riprap at this point. All side slopes of this
pond appear to meet the 3:1 requirement.
51W-B -- The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 3.37 feet. This modification will also correct the
inadequate residual freeboard at peak flow that currently exists.
The spillway needs to be extended 20 feet below the toe of the dam
and this extension will require erosion control material. The
invert also requires erosion control material but this pond already
has riprap at this point. All side slopes of this pond appear to
meet the 3:1 requirement.
61-A -- The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 1.23 feet. The spillway needs to be extended 20 feet below
the toe of the dam and this extension requires erosion control
material. The east side slope of this pond also need repaired as it
is currently 2.75:1.
• 61-B -- The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 1.36 feet. This modification will also correct the
inadequate residual freeboard at peak flow that currently exists.
While the spillway for this pond does extend 20 feet below the toe
of the dam, this extension will require erosion control material.
The spillway invert also requires erosion control material but this
pond already has riprap at this point. All side slopes of this pond
appear to meet the 3:1 requirement.
61-C -- The spillway needs to be extended 20 feet below the toe of
the dam and this extension will require erosion control material.
The east side slope of this pond is 2.7:1 and will require repair.
While extending the spillway, the spillway crest elevation should
be reduced by at least 0.25 feet to insure the 4 foot requirement
is satisfied.
61-D --The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 2.07 feet. This modification will correct the inadequate
residual freeboard at peak flow that currently exists. The spillway
needs to be extended 20 feet below the toe of the dam and this
extension will require erosion control material.
2-A -- The elevation of the spillway crest needs to be reduced by
at least 1.02 feet. The spillway needs to be extended 20 feet below
the toe of the dam and this extension will require erosion control
material. While the majority of the side slopes meet the
• requirement of 3:1, the material from the spillway modification
should be used to repair the side slopes on the southeast side of
