Areas in which the vegetation is <br />not successful or where rills and gullies develop shall <br />be repaired and revegetated to comply with the require- <br />ments of 4.14.6 and 4.15. <br />RESPONSE <br />All embankments of temporary and permanent impoundments, and the <br />surrounding areas and diversion ditches disturbed or created by <br />construction, will be graded, fertilized, seeded, and mulched to <br />comply with the requirements of 4.15, immediately after the em- <br />bankment is complete. Where water will be impounded, the <br />active upstream face of the embankment will be riprapped or <br />otherwise stabilized.
