Some of <br />the resources will he impacted temporarily, but with proper management, <br />will remain for the futuie. <br />Tlie small area actually occupied by the plant building and tank twill be <br />committed to that use for the life of tlce project, but will eventually <br />be removed when the r:~ineral resources of the mine are exhausted and the <br />mine closes. This project will be authorized in accordance ca.lth 36 CFR 252 - <br />Section 252.4 Plan of Operation. This Environmental Analysis Report <br />will become a part of the Operating Plan upmi project approval. The <br />operator will follow all requirements and conditions of the <br />Operating Plan and all management requirements and constraints listed <br />in this section of this report. <br />2. Homestake I•lining Company will notify the Forest Service immediately <br />of any discovery of cultural or natural history resources within the <br />project area. If any such resources are discovered during operations, <br />the operations will cease inunediately and the Operating Flan will be <br />amended to specify the conditions for protection or preservation of <br />the resources. <br />3. Soil and vegetative disturbance twill be kept to the minimum necessary <br />~• to accomplish the project. <br />--- - - 145 - <br />
