Page 3 <br />Permit No. COG-600000 <br />PART I <br />A. COVERAGE UNDER THIS PERMTf <br />1. Tvoes of wastewater <br />Under this general permit, facilities may be granted authorisation to discharge process generated <br />wastewaters into waters of the State of Colorado. For purposes of this permit, process generated <br />wastewazers include: <br />a. Wastewazer produced from washing the exteriors of trucks, cazs, airplanes, and boats (in dry <br />dock) .The washing of driveways, pazkiag lots, and roads are also covered by this permit, <br />subjeM to the exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />b. Wastewater produced from wazhing of bleachers, elevated seating, and grandstands, such as <br />those found at outdoor sporting or entena+~mMt events, subject to the exceptions listed below <br />in I.B.I.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />c. Wastewater produced from the draining, cleaning, and filter backwash of swimming pools, <br />spas, hot rubs, and similar structures including water slides, and wazer theme amusements, <br />subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />d. Waztewazer produced from the cleaning of temporary stables, traveling petting zoos, or any <br />other facility thaz discharges wash water associated with animal waztes that will enter staze <br />waters, subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.I.a. through I.B.I.I. <br />e. Wastewater produced from mobile cleaning vehicles such as steam cleaning, and pressure <br />washing (including building washing), subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.I.a. <br />through I.B.I.I. <br />f. Discharge of groundwater from foundation, basement, or underground structure dewazering, <br />subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />g. Discharge of condenser, non-contact cooling, and noncontact heating wazer is covered by this <br />permit, subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.I.a. through I.B.l.l. <br />h. Discharge of hydrostatic test water from the testing of new or used pipes, [oaks, or other <br />similar vessels, subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a, through I.B.1.1. <br />i. Discharge of wazer produced from facilities that employ the super chlorination (50-500 mB/f) <br />of potable wazer lines for the disinfection of these lines in a routine or planned situation and <br />wish to discharge the effluent, subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.I.a. through <br />I.B.1.1. <br />j. Discharge of wastewazers other than the types Listed above when negligible pollution concerns <br />are present may be covered by this permit, subject to the discretion of the Division and to the <br />exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />k. Wastewater produced from the washing of root crops such as potazoes, onions, and sugaz <br />beets or other fnrit/vegetable agricultural produce that d~~ea wash water associated with <br />vegetative wastes, subject to the exceptions listed below in I.B.l.a. through I.B.1.1. <br />
