<br />EFFLUENT LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS -PROCESS WATER DISCHARGE
<br />(This section (LB) only applies to facilities with a discharge of process water.)
<br />Genera] Limitations
<br />a. There shall be no dischazge of sanitary wastewaters from toilets or related facilities.
<br />b. There shall be no discharge of floating solids of visible foam.
<br />c No chemicals aze to be added to the dischazge unless the permit issuing authority grants permission for the use of a specific
<br />chemical. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations and monitoring requirements maybe imposed.
<br />d. Bulk storage structures for petroleum products and other chemicals shall have adequate protection to prevent any reasonable
<br />loss of the material from entering dischazged waters or waters of the State.
<br />2. Industry-Specific Numeric Limitations
<br />$eginning October 1, 2002 and lasting through September 30, 2007, the perrnittee is authori2ed to discharge from the process water
<br />outfalls, under the industrial category below, as identified in their permit certification
<br />In accordance with the Water Quality Control Commission Regulations for Effluent Limitations, Regulation 62, 5 C.C.R. 1002-62
<br />and State Dischazge Permit System Regulations, Section 61.8 (2), 5 C.C.R. 1002-b1, the petnritted dischazge shall not contain
<br />effluent parameter concentrations, which exceed the following limitations:
<br />a. Mineral mining and processing point source category - 40 CFR 436 - subpart B (crashed stone), C {constraction sand ant:
<br />gravel}, R (phosphate rock} -and all other industrial facilities covered under SIC Code 14, (except graphite and those 1
<br />facilities specifically ]isted in paragraph c, be]ow), and concrete and asphalt batch pants located at any facility otherwis> 1
<br />covered by this general pemrit: '
