-4- <br />At its widest point, the terrace created in Area C may be <br />500 to 600 ft. wide. Upon completion of mining in an im- <br />mediate area, all embankments will be graded to a 2:1 to <br />3:1 slope. Complete reclamation will be conducted in the <br />phases as described in Exhibits E and F. <br />The entire mining operation will not disturb existing <br />groundwater systems in the surrounding area since all mining <br />will halt above the water table. No wa_~ ter diversion or im- <br />poundment is involved, although the applicant may seek_ a~ <br />et~ange in use f s_some of_.the irrigation water rights from <br />Agriculture to Industrial use during part of the mining <br />operation, ~ccessful completion of the mining operation <br />is in no way dependent upon an approved change of use by <br />the Colorado Water Court. <br />The equipment used in the mining operation includes a Fiat- <br />Allis Model 16-B, dozer and blade; a Clark Model 175 front- <br />end loader equipped with a 3 cu/yd bucket; and a Clark Model <br />55 front-end loader equipped with a 2 cu/yd bucket. Crushing <br />and washing are provided by contract services on an as needed <br />basis. fhe conveyer system planned for Phases 2 & 3 have not <br />been acquired as of this time. <br /> <br />
