The location is depicted on Figure 2, <br />Mining and Reclamation Plan, dated: Mar. 30, 1982. The configuration of the structure is in compliance with the <br />approved mine plan and permit. The cross section as depicted on Figure 2 has been modified. The inside slope was <br />constructed to a slope of l vertical to 3 horizontal, and protected by riprap at least 10 feet down the slope from six <br />inches above the invert of the emergency spillway. Cleaning of the pond is not required. The pond requires cleaning <br />when 60% of the maximum sediment level is reached (Pemtit, Section 2.05, Page 37). The 60% level is at elevation <br />8195.5' and the maximum sediment level is at 8196.0 (Figure 2). The estimated equivalent level of sediment in the <br />pond is estimated at 8194 (2% accumulation, 4th Quarter 1997 Inspection Repon).
