Quarterly Pond Inspection Report <br />Operator: SLURCO Corporation. <br />Facility: Impoundment 001, Canadian Mine, C-81-026, Technical Revision TR-06. <br />Date of Inspection: October I, 1997, 1100 MDT. <br />Weather: Sunny, no clouds, high 60s/low 70s, calm, apparently heavy precipitation within 24 hours. <br />Pond identification: 001. <br />Type of Pond: Formerly sedimentation, currently livestock and wildlife. <br />Approximate Water Level: Approximately 18 inches of standing water within the central area of the pond basin. <br />Sediment Level (% total storage): Estimate 25 % of total storage. <br />Outflow (cfs): 0. <br />OPERATIONAL STATUS AT TIME OF INSPECTION <br />FEATURES PROBLEM COMMENTS <br />Erosional <br />Rills & Gullies on Embankment No Erosion control matting and rock <br />riprap is still in place on upstream <br />face.
