Samples will be collected in such a manner as to minimize
physical disturbance at the sample point.
3. Sampling devices will be cleaned prior to use and samples
will be placed in clean sample containers which will be
sealed at the sampling site.
4. Samples will be placed in a cooler with ice immediately
after collection and will be shipped within 24 hours to a
laboratory for analysis.
5. Weekly water quality sampling will included measurement of
pit and collection and analysis of grab samples for
settleable solids. If water quality analysis results indicate a possible
permit violation, the Colorado Department of Health and
CMLRD will be notified immediately. In addition, both
agencies will be provided with copies of the suspect
analysis results and a report discussing any necessary
mitigation.
3.
