?.,~ ~ <br />_ ,.~ ~ ~ l* <br />• <br />EXHIBIT Ns RECLAMATION PLAN <br />The proposed gravel pit is in a terrace which lies in a <br />j bend of Frenchman Creek. The creek is on the west, north, <br />and east aides of the pit area. While the area visually <br />• appears relatively flat, there is a gentle elope from an <br />area near the center of the pit to the north, east, and <br />zest. The creek bed lays eight to ten feet below the <br />terrace. <br />The final grading for-the bottom of the pit would be <br />relatively flat with air backslopes from the bottom of <br />the pit to the adjoining terrace no steeper than Ls: 1. <br />• <br />The area which x111 be disturbed is presently covered with <br />grass which basically serves only as protection from wind <br />erosion. After consulting the soil survey to determine <br />practical uses for soils of the Wages - Eckley -Dix <br />complex, of which the material for our topsoil x111 be <br />derived, and consulting with the owners to determine their <br />plans for the area and what their desires were concerning <br />• reclamation it was determined that the area should be <br />seeded to grass. <br />The owners major concern is that the area has cover to <br />protect against rind erosion.
