EXHIBIT Ms SOUS <br />The top six inches, approximately, of the pit, plant, and <br />stockpile areas xas tested in the laboratory and found to <br />be a loamy sand consisting of 77.6% sand, 17,5 silt, and <br />• 4.9% clap. This is material which x111 be removed and <br />stockpiled, tlwn replaced at the completion of the operation <br />to serve ae a seed bed for the reseeding. <br />The Soil Conservation Service soils map of the area shows <br />it as being a Wages - Eckley - Dix complex, This type of <br />area is better suited to grazing than cultivation. The <br />soils survey for the Soil Conservation Service map was taken <br />• to a depth of five feet, Their investigation shows the <br /> materiel to be suitable as a good source of road fill but <br />poor as a eoin•ce for sand and gravel, Hoxever, in our <br />investigation of the area, xhich rent to depths of as much <br />as txelve feet, xe found sufficient quantities of satisfactory <br />sand and gravel to furnish material for our construction <br />project, The soils, laying below a depth of three to four <br />feet doxn to ten to txelve feet, range from a gravel near <br />• the creek at the north end of the pit area to a coarse to <br />fine sand at the plant and stockpile area, <br />-# <br />
