7. Fuel and Petroleum Storage
At Present one above ground 2000 gallon diesel tank is on
site. Petroleum lubricants are stored ire 55 gallon drum
inside an enclosed and secured semi trailer.
No underground tanks are on site.
1954 fuel storage plans include the construction of hard
stand or bentonite lined bermed enclosure to hold all
Fuels and used petroleum products held prior to pickup
for recycling. If the bentonite lined holding pond area
is constructed, it will be large enough to hold all fuel
volumes stored within its confine~~ and be large enough to
facilitate fuel loading into mobile mining equipment
including trucks, bulldozer, and front end loaders.
Fuel pollution control protection and containment will
meet all Federal Guidelines for Spill Prevention Control
and Countermeasure requirernents (SPCC).
8. Waste Materials Inventory and Location
There are no waste materials stored or buried within the
confines of the mining area.
There is no waste material produced by crushing and
screening operations, as all larger sized rock products
are stockpiled for sale as erosion control cobbles, eight
inch rock, or rip rap. Fines rnaterials rejected during
crushing operations are blended into asphalt batchiny or
utilized for reclamation of the site, as *_hese rnaterials
typically contain a soils component.
SECTIOIV II
DESCRIPTION OF OPERATIONAL BEST h1ANAGEMENT PRACTICES (6MP's)
A.
