PERFORMANCE HISTORY
A. Monitoring Data
Dischar a Monitorin Re orts: Tables Y-1 and V-2 summarize the effluent data repported on the quarterly Discharge
onitortn eports or Out(alts 004 and 007 at the Mountain Coal Compan , LLC West Elk Mine atilt tom April
1998 throgugh March 2003. able V-3 summarizes the effluent data reported on the quarterly DMRs~or Ou~a110~~from July
2000 through March 2003. During the~ve-year period, no dischar a occurred from Outfalls 011, 12, an 018. IStscharges
occurred intermittentl from Outfa 0 S, 0118 009, 014, and 015, (all of which contain surface runoff water, only). However,
na exceedences of a uenf limits occurred and'iherefore no summary of effluent characteristics is rov:ded or the e~ve ou~Jails.
Discharge occurre om Outfa11013, a mine water discharge, from January 1998 through June 2000, andffrom dutfall 016, a
mine water and since runoff water discharge, during the second calendar quarter of 2000.
