46KV Transmission Line
Dear Mr. Stover,

Delta-Montrose Electric Association, as owner of the
46KV line and easement that was built to serve Grand Mesa
Coal Company, has no plans at this time to remove this line.
As long as this line remains in place, we will need
vehicular access to the pole locations for operation and
maintenance purposes.
As time goes forward, electrical needs c}iange and the
future may show a need to use the line or remove it. In
any event we address such decisions through our long range
planing process.
Should you have any questions, I will do my best to
get answers. I apologize that this response Look so long.
