should be monitored. Mining along the eastern edge of the <br />NVCLA EAST area is expected to extend only ten feet below <br />the water table. Therefore, impact on these wells is <br />expected to be minimal. <br />These represent, basically, the worst case scenarios for <br />impacts of the mining operation on ground-water rights. <br />It should be recognized that the zone-of-influence <br />estimates from pit excavation are based on several <br />assumptions that may not necessarily reflect the actual field <br />setting.
