EXHIBIT D
RECLAMATION PLAN
The reclamation of the affected land will be re-vegetated to restore the entire amount of
affected land to rangeland. The post mining land is consistent with adjacent land. Side
slopes will be no greater than 3:1 and the floor of the mined area will be at a slope of no
less the one percent. Compacted areas will be ripped during reclamation and all excess
pit fines, and pit waste material will be placed in a course directly above the previously
mined areas. Topsoil which was stockpiled, will be spread evenly over the re-contoured
site to a depth of 6 inches or more. The site will then be tilled and firmed to prepare a
suitable seed bed. Seeding will be done in accordance with the recommendation of the
Natural Resources Conservation Service.
A.
