PART I <br />Page 6 <br />Permit No. COG-500000 <br />B. EFFLUENT LIMfI'ATIO:NS AND CONDTITONS -PROCESS WATER DISCHARGE <br />c. No chemicals are to be added to the discharge unless permission for the use of a specific chemical is granted <br />by the permit issuing authority. In granting the use of such chemicals, additional limitations and monitoring <br />requirementr, may be imposed. <br />d. Bulk storage structures for petroleum products and other chemicals shag have adequate protection so as to <br />prevent any reasonable loss of the material from entering discharged waters or waters of the State. <br />2. Indtistr~v~oeufic lQt~eric Limitations <br />Beginning October 1, 1992 and lasting through September 30, 1997, the permittee is authori7.ed to discharge from the <br />process water outfells, order the industrial category below, u identrfied in their permit certification. <br />In accordance with the Water lZuality Control Commission Regulations for Effluent Limitations, Sxtion 10.1.3, and <br />State Discharge Permit System Regulations, Section 6.9.2, 5 C.C.R. 1002-2, the permitted discharge shall not <br />contain effluent parameter concmtrationa which exceed the following limitations: <br />a. Mineral mining and processing point source category - 40 CFR 436 - subpart B (crushed stone), C <br />(construction sand and gravel), D (industrial sand), R (phosphate rock) -and ell other industrial facilities <br />covered und~;r SIC Cade 14, except graphite, and those specifically listed in paragraph b, below, end concrete <br />batch plants located at any facility otherwise covered by this general permit: <br />Effluent Parameter <br />Flow, MGD <br />Total Suspended Solids, mg/1 <br />Oil and Grease, mg/1 <br />Total Dissolved Solids, mg/l e! <br />(Colo.
