At the Parachute Site, the gasoline and diesel tanks will be
located just south the water treatment (softener) building.
More information, such as the thickness of concrete floors or pads, berm construction,
floor slope, and floor coatings will be provided in the final Response Plan. More
detailed storage and handling procedures will also be provided in the final Response
Plan.
MSDSs for significant materials will be carefully reviewed prior to the finalization of
facility design. The volume of each tank will be approximately 500 gallons.
Spilled fuel or fuel vapors could ignite if exposed to an ignition source.
Natural Gas-Fired Equipment
Natural gas-fired equipment that will be located at either the Piceance or Parachute
Sites is as follows:
Boilers Piceance Site and Parachute Site
Space heaters Piceance Site and Parachute Site
ZO
Preliminary Response Plan
Yankee Gulch Sodmm Minerals Project
American Soda, L.L.P.
