The waste label would include at least the following: • facility name, address, and EPA identification number • manifest number • contents of the container or the words "hazardous waste" • accumulation start date • DOT shipping name • EPA waste code(s) and waste description 5.6 Personal Protective Equipment American Soda will provide the PPE that is listed on MSDSs for their employees. PPE storage areas will be clearly marked and equipment will be well maintained. Employee training on proper use of PPE and fit testing will be performed by American Soda or other qualified designees. Typical PPE items that will likely be available for employees: safety glasses and goggles • face shields • hard hats • safety shoes • chemical suits, gloves, hoods and boots • air-purifying devices • air-supplied respirators • positive-pressure, self-contained breathing apparatus 5.7 Evacuation Routes and Procedures Evacuation routes will be developed once final design details are completed. Final equipment layout will accommodate adequate aisle ways (defined by applicable regulations). Employee meeting places are shown on Figures 1 and 2. Housekeeping will be performed on a regular basis to keep evacuation routes clear. Routes will be discussed during employee training and evacuation rehearsals will be performed as needed. The Response Team will coordinate the accounting of personnel after evacuation. 5.8 Fire Protection Fire extinguishers will be provided throughout the facilities. American Soda will ensure that the appropriate extinguishing materials are available for each of the hazardous chemicals.
