The waste label <br />would include at least the following: <br />• facility name, address, and EPA identification number <br />• manifest number <br />• contents of the container or the words "hazardous waste" <br />• accumulation start date <br />• DOT shipping name <br />• EPA waste code(s) and waste description <br />5.6 Personal Protective Equipment <br />American Soda will provide the PPE that is listed on MSDSs for their employees. PPE <br />storage areas will be clearly marked and equipment will be well maintained. Employee <br />training on proper use of PPE and fit testing will be performed by American Soda or <br />other qualified designees. Typical PPE items that will likely be available for employees: <br />safety glasses and goggles <br />• face shields <br />• hard hats <br />• safety shoes <br />• chemical suits, gloves, hoods and boots <br />• air-purifying devices <br />• air-supplied respirators <br />• positive-pressure, self-contained breathing apparatus <br />5.7 Evacuation Routes and Procedures <br />Evacuation routes will be developed once final design details are completed. Final <br />equipment layout will accommodate adequate aisle ways (defined by applicable <br />regulations). Employee meeting places are shown on Figures 1 and 2. Housekeeping <br />will be performed on a regular basis to keep evacuation routes clear. Routes will be <br />discussed during employee training and evacuation rehearsals will be performed as <br />needed. The Response Team will coordinate the accounting of personnel after <br />evacuation. <br />5.8 Fire Protection <br />Fire extinguishers will be provided throughout the facilities. American Soda will <br />ensure that the appropriate extinguishing materials are available for each of the <br />hazardous chemicals.
