Inc, un1e: 10/28/77
Tv ~Mr, Roman Bockua
1752 Ura Lane
Denver, Colorado 80234
The soils information for the above property can be found in
the 'Soil Survey of Adams County, G~lorado.' Reference maps #3
and X19 should be used for the exact location of the different
soil types. A copy of these is included for your convenience,
This property is broken up into three more or less distinct
land uses: irrigated pastureland, non-irrigated pastureland and
overflow land. The irrigated pastureland is mostly found along
the east side of the property. Brome grass and Orchard grass are
the slain grasses with small amounts of alfalfa. In its' present con-
dition, I would estimate the annual yield to be about 3-5 tone
per acre,
The non-irrigated pastureland occurs between the irrigated
land and the overflow land adjacent to the South Platte River,
Western Wheatgrass, saltgrass, Blue Grams and Switchgrase are the
most common grasses found in these areas. In the wetter areas
sedges, rushes and cattails will be found.
The overflow land is the land that is immediately next to the
channel of the South Platte River. This area is subject to in-
undation by water during times of flooding, Because of this, there
is a large number of annual grasses and (orbs found here. These
will include l~nchia weed, Russian Thistle, Curly Dock, Red root
Pigweed, Prickly Poppy, Canadian Thistle and Whitetop. The annual
grasses are made up of Downy Brome, annual Bluegr8las and annual
Dropeeed. Other grasses include Western Wheatgrasa, Saltgraes, Blue
Grams and switchgrass,
If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to call on
me.
Sincerely,
Norman J.
