UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
SOIL CONSERVATION SERVICE - P, O, Box 487 - Brighton, CO, 80601
sUnn=.t°n Adams Aggregate Co. Inc. unrl: 10/27/77
Soils Information (Pt, Sec. 14,23,24 TLS R67W)
T~~ ~ Mr. Roman Bockus
1752 Ura Lane
Denver, CO, 80234
The soils information for the above property can be found in
the published 'Soil Survey of Adams County, Colorado. Please
refer to sheet number 3 for the exact location of the soils. For
easy reference, I have included a sheet 3 with the property
boundaries outlined.
The vegetation found on the property consists of rangeland,
pastureland and non-irrigated cropland, Attached, you will find
a complete description of each range site, For the most part,
this rangeland would be considered as being in poor to fair
condition, AL1 of the rangeland will be found to the west of
Riverdale Road. The pastureland is found east of Riverdale Road and
is typical of these soils. Orchard grass, saltgraes, western
wheatgrase and alfalfa and clover are found there. Closer to the
river will be found sonie cottonwood and willow trees. Cattails
and sedges are found along the river,
The rescinder of the property is used for the production of
winter wheat, This non-irrigated cropland will usually be summer
fallow one year and wheat the next, From the amount of stubble
remaining, it appears crop yield would be 10-15 bushels per acre.
If I can be of further assistance, !lease feel free to call
on me.
Sincerely,
~/
ooman J, ells, Jr, J
Range Conservationist
0
