C. Buffer Requirements. <br />1. 5roecifications. Buffer composition and the number, type sad width of <br />plantings within a Buffer is specified in chart Barrier Specifications. <br />2. Right-of-wad A buffer shall notbe located on anyportion of an existing or <br />dedicated public right of way, except in Districts zoned C-3 or C-4 where the <br />buffer shall be placed between the frontage road and the parallel state highway rn <br />County mad. <br />3. Adi scent. A buffer within the front yard shall be determined by the use of the <br />property across the road <br />4. Heisht of Plants. The mature minimum height oftrees or shrubs shall be <br />within the listed size in a cuaent botanical reference applicable to Gilpin Covnty. <br />5. Charts. The required Buffer specified in the cells of the chart Barriers <br />Between Adjacent Uses refer to the definitions specified in the chart Baaier <br />Specifications. <br />6. Plant Preservation. To the extent possible, strips of natural growth may be <br />preserved and if necessary augmented to provide the buffer required Nothing in <br />these regulations shall be construed to require new plantings, but if original <br />plantings are used such shall be of a type compatible with the sub-alpine <br />environment. <br />7. C-4 and C-5. A zoning district other thau C-4 or C-5 shall separate a C-4 or C- <br />5 district from any residential district. <br />D. Screen Regulations. <br />1. ScreeaAefimtions. <br />a. Pence.
