(S) A public hearing shall be held before the Board of County Commissioners, <br />following publication of notice of such hearing in a newspaper of general <br />circulation within the County at least .fifteen (15) days prior to the heating. <br />The applicant shall snail a written notice of said hearing by certified mail, at <br />least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing to adjacent property owners of the <br />property being considered in the sign plan <br />(t7 Once authorized by the Boazd of County Commissioners, a comprehensive <br />sign plan may be modified through the following procedure: <br />a. The County Planner shall submit notice of the requested'cbange and <br />all relevant material to the Planning Commission for its review and <br />recommendation to the Boazd of County Commissioners. <br />b. The Boazd of County Commissioners shall allow the proposed change <br />only if the following criteria are met: <br />1. The proposed change will not adversely affect the development <br />and preservation of the entire sign plan; <br />2. The change will not adversely affect the surrounding land <br />uses; <br />3. The change will not conflict with the purposes of this Section; <br />and <br />4. The change is not granted solely to confer a special benefit <br />upon any party. <br />('7) Nothing in these provisions shall be construed to deny the Boazd of County <br />Commissioners power to require a Public Hearing or any modification of or <br />release from any provision of the original comprehensive sign plan so that the <br />modified plan conforms to other County Regulations in effect at the time the <br />modifications are proposed. <br />8.10 Enforcement. <br />Nothing contained in this Resolution shall be construed to constitute an exclusive remedy <br />or restrict in any way the exercise of any legal or equitable remedies available to the <br />County to enforce compliance with this sign code. <br />C3ilpin County Zoning Regulations 59 <br />
